Why oxygenate the bottom of a body of water?

A body of water that lacks sufficient oxygen at depth tends to become progressively unbalanced:
aerobic bacteria disappear, silt accumulates, undesirable gases form, and algae find an environment conducive to their growth.

Positioning

Install the diffuser in the deepest part of the tank to create an effective vertical mixing column.

Avoid direct burial: place the diffuser slightly elevated on a stable surface.

Recommended usage

Oxygen demand is highest at night, when photosynthesis stops.

Recommended cycle:

30 minutes of operation / 30 minutes of downtime
priority between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m.
