    Bleu marine
The combination of aesthetics and biological regulation

Bleu Marine a dual-action biological dye designed to improve the visual appearance of water bodies while effectively controlling the growth of algae and aquatic plants.

By filtering out the light rays necessary for photosynthesis, it acts as a natural UV filter without the use of toxic substances.
The result: instantly azure-blue water that looks more uniform, and a gradual reduction in plant overgrowth.

Mechanism of action: a physical, non-chemical mechanism

    Bleu Marine not a herbicide.

It does not kill plants through chemical action, but by depriving them of light.
By tinting the water, the product filters out the specific wavelengths required for photosynthesis.

Since the plants can no longer develop properly, their growth is gradually and naturally stunted.

    Action focused on the substance

The UV filter primarily affects plants that begin growing underground before they emerge above ground.

    Target species

    • Aquatic plants:
Eurasian water milfoil, heterophyll, hornwort, Canadian waterweed,
    • Algae:
      Filamentous algae, microalgae, cyanobacteria.

    Dosage and frequency of application

For effective UV filtration and stable color, the treatment should be repeated every 4 to 6 weeks during the growing season.

    Expert advice and safety

Although Bleu Marine organic and non-toxic when diluted:

    • Handling: The undiluted product is highly staining. Wear gloves and protective clothing, especially when handling the liquid version.
    • Storage: Store between 4 °C and 38 °C, protected from freezing.

    Need an accurate dosage calculation?

Using too little product will render the UV filter ineffective.
