    Why oxygenate the bottom of a pond?

    A body of water that lacks sufficient oxygen at depth tends to become progressively unbalanced:
    aerobic bacteria disappear, silt accumulates, undesirable gases form, and algae find an environment conducive to their growth.

    Oxylake works through three key mechanisms

    • Sediment reoxygenation: restoration of conditions conducive to aerobic bacterial life.
    • Reduction in available nutrients: indirect limitation of algal growth.

    Positioning

    Install the diffuser in the deepest part of the tank to create an effective vertical mixing column.

    Avoid direct burial: place the diffuser slightly elevated on a stable surface.

    • 30 minutes of operation / 30 minutes of downtime
